Sydney’s most liveable city in the world?

Often in newspapers appear rankings on the most livable cities in the world and along with the New Zealand ones, Northern Europe is one of the first places occupied by Sydney.

Now I don’t know in detail the criteria that once collected and analyzed outline the ranking, but is Sydney really such a liveable city?

It’s true, the city is very green, has many areas to relax and catch, and the security level is very high. I have never felt so safe as when I’m here to go in the streets for the night or by taking public.

But there is still traffic, a lot of machines and noise pollution that stuns. How can a city with a high traffic rate really be viable? In some streets like Pitt and George Street, a number of people who occupy roads and cars, buses, and so on. They make it really stressful to follow them.

It is no coincidence that many Australians dream of buying the classic English style cottage out of town and then in the suburbs or better yet at the sea.

As far as I know of many positive aspects of the city, I would not have lived it for a long time in the center, except in neighborhoods such as Glebe or Surry Hills which are by no means very demanding.

For me, a livable city should have large pedestrian areas and should aim for a kind of sustainable mobility.
