Let’s save Miller’s Point

Well yes, the world is the same wherever you go, and above all, money always runs huge, often wrong and damaging interests.

And so, because of Australia’s richest man’s desire, Sydney finds itself struggling with the destruction of part of the historic heritage of The Rocks, the oldest part of the city, which at the dawn of the city was already saved once from the first green movements.

The Millers Point community is struggling against this danger and walking through the streets of this quarters are easily visible the posters to fight the skyscraper construction project. In fact, the idea is to make this part of the city the same as the rest of the CBD.

So if you are in town, do not miss a sight of the city from the Sydney Observatory because what you see might not exist anymore.

When will one realize that the history and identity of a site are more important than economic interests and anonymous skyscrapers? Especially in a city that in terms of history and culture you do not have much to offer. I just hope that the Sydney community and citizens will stop it!
